Short bio

Fouad Jallouli is Director of Service Design at the Government of Alberta, where he leads design and product teams that ship services for more than 5 million Albertans. Over 20+ years he has built design practice inside complex public-sector and enterprise organizations — and now puts AI to work inside it.

Long bio

Fouad Jallouli runs design and product teams that ship services people actually use, inside organizations where delivery is hard. As Director of Service Design at the Government of Alberta, he leads the service design practice across government, having grown a 40+ person practice to more than 100. His career spans public sector, energy, social services, and transportation — usually building a design team where there hadn't been one, back when “service design” still needed explaining. His approach is consistent: get the problem right before solving it, ship something real inside systems that don't like to move fast, and build things people will actually use. Increasingly that means helping teams put AI to work without cutting corners on quality. He speaks and runs workshops on service design, public-sector transformation, and design leadership.
